Discussion #1&2 about our compositions…

I will be posting videos for you to watch at home that will take a look at the work students are producing as we compose weekly. These videos are meant for you to see what others are doing. The videos are meant for you to notice some issues that need to be taken care of. I expect that you watch these videos and make sure that you do not make the same errors as I point out in the videos! I also want you to take note of how well some of you are doing with their pieces they are writing! These videos will also be a way for the rest of you to take note of that fact as well and maybe step it up a notch or two!

Band Concert – 7th-12th Grade bands and HS Choir

The concert this week on Wednesday is for the 7th/8th Grade Combined Band, High School Band and High School Choir.

The band students need to be in the band room at 6pm and the concert will start at 6:30 sharp… The MS pools will be passed out that night and turned in afterwards.

HS Blog Post #3 – Due Feb 10

This week you need to write about 3-4 quintets or quartets that involve your instrument. These groups should be groups that are well established and play around the country/world.
