Today was a great performance, the last final performance from our seniors. You all did an awesome job! It sounded really great. I received more compliments today than I have in the past! Thanks for supporting our great community of Farwell and the Veterans.

Thanks go to our Parents that helped out, the same parents that are always there helping our students in their performances. Jacob and Paula Sullivan – thanks for the water and being an awesome Color Guard Instructor. Thanks to Mrs. Kelly for jumping in and giving a ride when it was needed. Thanks to A.J. McInnis for all the pictures you take and share with us. Thanks to Mrs. Gross for the pictures you take and the water you helped make sure was there. We look forward to having you as our next Booster President. Thanks to Mrs. Murphy for tracking down all of our money.

Our 2012-2013 Drum Majors announced our 2012-2013 Drum Majors – Congratulations go to Caron White and Tristan Shimmons.

High School does well at State Festival

The High School Band traveled to Big Rapids High School Friday afternoon to perform at state festival. Their fine performance earned them straight Twos from all four judges. Farwell has gone to state festival 2 of the past three times they took part in MSBOA Festivals. 

Nice job Band!

2:00 SHARP – Leave Farwell High School Band Room
3:15 Arrive at Big Rapids – Unload Trailer and find coat room
3:45 Listen to Clare 8th Grade
4:25 Listen to Sparta
4:55 Listen to Fremont
5:25 Dinner Break – Eat their concessions!
6:30 In warm up room ready to go
6:45 Warm up Room
7:15 Perform on stage
7:45 Sightread
8:15 Load trailer and get ratings
8:45 Leave Big Rapids
10:00 Arrive back in Farwell at the band parking lot. Please make sure you have rides waiting.
