Since school has been cancelled for today there will not be a concert tonight. The next question some of you will ask is whether it will be re-scheduled. The answer to that is, no. Since we are going to be performing this same music at festival next week parents will still have the opportunity to travel with us and see their kids perform. If for some reason you are not able to drive to Tawas we are still looking for a few chaperones, call Mr. Shimmons if you would like to volunteer. The bands are always recorded as well at festival so we can make sure you at least get a chance to hear a recording of the kids afterwards.
8th Grade Parents – remember the mandatory meeting for information on what is coming up for your child as a high school band student. That meeting will be next week Tuesday in the high school media center at 6:30PM.
