The 1812 overture was scored for an orchestra made up of a piccolo, flutes, oboes, cor anglais, Bb clarinets, bassoons, horns, cornets, trumpets, trombones, tubas, timpani, triangle, tambourine, snare drum, cymbals, bass drum, carrilons, cannons, and the organs. The work is best known for the sequence of cannon fire, which is sometimes performed, especially at outside festivals, using one or more real cannons. His full name was Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky! What a mouthful!! The music was a little dramatic.

The 1812 Overture is scored for an orchestra made up of piccolo flutes, oboes, cor anglais and tuba. The performance is the joint effort of the Kingston Symphony and the Fort Henry Guard, with the Fort Henry Guard firing a variety of rifles and artillery during the performance. The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own” performs the 1812 Overture at the National Sylvan Theater, Washington, DC, USA, every August. The performance is highlighted with real cannon of the 3rd United States Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard)] Presidential Salute Battery.”1812 at the Fort”, an outdoor performance of the 1812 Overture, is performed annually during summer at Fort Henry in Kingston, Ontario. The performance is the joint effort of the Kingston Symphony and the Fort Henry Guard, with the Fort Henry Guard firing a variety of rifles and artillery during the performance. The Boston Pops Orchestra plays the Overture annually on Independence Day for “Pops Goes The Fourth.” It is one of the best-attended July 4th celebrations in the country and it takes place on the Charles River Esplanade at the Hatch Shell. The performance is accompanied by real cannons from the Massachusetts National Guard and by fireworks over Boston Harbor/Charles River.

In 1812 overture there where2fluts 2 clarenets in Bb.there was also a orchistra and when they played indoors they where able to use computer genarated cannon sounds and a huge barrel drum.Tchaikovsky never heard his song after developed. there was also a trombone.

The 1812 is an orchistra Tchaikovsky wrote for the unsuccessful invation for the Russia French invation. The piece of music was marked 1812 for the war in 1812.The piece of music has 2 flutes,2 oboes,2clarinets, 2 bassoons, 4 horns in F, 2 cornets in B flat, 2 trumpets in E flat, 3 trombones, tuba, timpani, triangle, tambourine, snare drum, cymbals, bass drum, carillon.

The battle of Borodino was going on. There was a very good sounding orchestra. Some of the insruments that were used in the orchestra are insruments that you do not see alot around today. There was also an anthem played called “God save the Tsar!” Antel Dorati and Erich Kunzel were the first conductors to encourage exact fiediley music.

I really enjoy it it sounds like a Fourth of July song and it was also played on a couple Fourth of July’s. I hear flutes, percshion, oboes, bells, clarinets, and bassons. Tchaikovsky wrote this because of the French invasion into Russia.

I hear trumpets,flutes,1 piano, and a couple claranets. tchaikovsky is an unsuseccful commemorating. A lot of intrusments I don’t know or barely know.

The spring of 1880 Tchaikovsky and some of his friends helped rewrite the song.It was finished in six week on october12 1880.There was 2 flutes and 2 oboes 2 claranets 2 bassons 4 french horns and more.It is an orchsha.

Insterment I heard are tombones, flute, trumpet, clarinet, percussion, baratone. One thing I thought was interesting about Tchaikovsky was that he complained to his patron.
Another thing I noticed was that his friends suggested

the brass, percuine, and the woodwinds.I like the way how he started the music very quietly and got louder.

He used 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons and a bunch of other instruments.

This peice he used 2 clarinets, 4 horns,2 flutes cannons,bass drums,tam-tam.
