Band Directors through the years

Who can fix these dates and or spellings? Who can add to this list? I know the order of directors is close but the years are really fuzzy!(Updated with help from Micah’s post)T. Paul Shimmons 1996-PresentDon Volz was 1995-1996Karen Neninnger was 1994-1995 (she left in March)Dave Papenhagen was 1992-1994Mark VanHoose was 1990-1992Connie Miller was 1988-1990Ewbank was the maiden name of Merlyn Bidstrup was director from 1976-1987, then she moved to the elementary school.Don Volz was 1969? and was moved to 8th grade social studies around 1975

The website looks great and I can help you with some of the information you are looking for with directors and I’ll try with the drum majors also.

Don Volz was 1995-1996
Karen Neninnger was 1994-1995 (she left in March)
Dave Papenhagen was 1992-1994
Mark VanHoose was 1990-1992
Connie Miller was 1988-1990
Ewbank was the maiden name of Myrne (sp?) Bidstrup…she was band director until 1988, then she moved to the elementary school.

Don Volz was previous to her tenure…I believe he started in 1969 and was moved to 8th grade social studies around 1975. I will have to ask him for sure.

Mr. Shimmons,

I believe Karen had left before March because she wasn’t our director when we did Solo-n-Ensemble in February. I could be wrong , but I’m pretty sure we had been working with Mr. Volz for a couple months before we went to District.
